BRASSERIE
CHEZ HENRI
Hossegor is a hundred years old.
At Chez Henri, we are not moved by what has passed, but by what remains: unchanging, certain, worthy of contemplation.
Like the sunset from our terrace on the shores of the lake, where the light blends the reflection of the water with that of the sky.
A timeless moment, beyond hours and dates, reminding us that time has passed, yet nothing has changed. A platter of shellfish dips its toes in the water and sets the heart sailing towards the open sea.
We think of those who inhabited these walls in 1910.
We hear the voices of sailors, newly freed from the sea, drawing closer to the house where woodcocks roasted on a string over the fire. We would have loved to be there, among those evenings at the dawn of the twentieth century.
